a handpainted figurine of The Judge from Cormac McCarthy's to-date opus, Blood Meridian, or The Evening Redness in the West. I imagined him much fatter, but the sculptor captured the sinister-ness of the child-scalper, rapist, and otherwise unstoppable force of evil.
